E-Waste

Due to handling requirements, E-Waste items will only be accepted at the Greenport Transfer Station

Electronic and electrical products surround us in today's society. Huge numbers of products we purchase, such as computers, become obsolete quickly creating a challenge for their safe disposal. In addition, electronic products are made from valuable resources including precious and other metals, engineered plastics, glass, and other materials.

Businesses in need of proper disposal of electronics may contact the Solid Waste Administrative Office at 518-828-2737 for further instruction.
